Long Live the King!!!!!!!!!!!

I know that there have been rumors circulating around the blogosphere about who will be our 14th member now that Ricky Tsunami has decided to end his monumentally long hold out. And it is with much excitement and happiness that I am happy to announce the official return of a decorated veteran: a BORTs clad Jon "The King" Plundo!

He was heartbroken to announce back in March that he did not expect to be able to physically perform at the 2010 Memorial due to minor surgery. However, with his doctor's permission and Leeno's failure to object, The King has thrown his hat back into a star studded 2010 ring! Looks like El Jiggerino better break out that hazing pamphlet and see what the rules are for hazing fellow brothers or veterans in our case.

The King states that he intends on being 100% and ready to roll up at Guffey cabin this year! So, for those keeping score at home we have 14 members ready to roll on May 29, along with Peezy the Refereezy of course:

1) Rhino
2) Bowler
3) Legs
4) The King
5) Bluebeard
6) Beekeeper
7) Jiggaman
8) Mughandle
9) Rick Douglas
10) Joe Nacho
11) Sweaty Big
12) Biz
13) Rattsfield
14) Thunder

Huge list. F that "Dream Team" list from 2008. This field dwarfs that field ten-fold!

the lack of a mid week nacho break has ruined my down time at work. we need nacho back doing what he does best, blogging and hating being scared

Nacho, your lack of post this week has left me confused, sad, and wondering around my office aimlessly with no direction on where to go or what to do.

I'm really sorry guys. I thought the announcement of King's return to Meltdown Lake would be enough. It sure was for me.

Furthermore, I guarantee to serve the most piping-hot, cheesy, spicy, life-altering, boner-enducing, time-wasting, high-five worthy plate of nachos you've ever tasted in your life this week to make up for it. You have my word.

God Bless,
Nacho

Warriors, has anyone figured out who can make airport runs and when?? I land at 5 pm on Friday. That way we get to spend extra time in traffic.

I am getting in at 10:00 p.m. on Thursday night so if anyone is arriving around that time I can help you out. Otherwise as most of you know the J-Man doesn't drive so I won't be much of assistance after that.

Btw. I hope Beard sleeps in the cabin by himself again on Thursday night.

it's Thursday, noon (1200 for the King) and still no update from nacho? the world doesn't make much sense right now.

Sweats, I'm dying. I can't access the blog from work for some reason. I just ran home to post this. I can make an airport run Friday, the earlier the better. King,I like your timeframe, can I just volunteer to pick you up?

Crazylegs said...

haha i forgot that beardo slept in the cabin by himself on thursday! nothing but him and his thoughts...and a LOT of dust!

King said...

Nacho, I'd be honored to ride to Guffy Cabin with you!!!

And I know some of you were worried about my well being after the game last night. You'll be happy to know that I'm alive. I drank my sorrows away... a 22 oz beer, 2 pints, and 14 cans... very healthy behavior.

Nacho i have one more O/U for you...Number of 5 hour energy drinks consumed by the King on Saturday-7

Nacho said...

dammit!! How'd I forget about that and how was that never brought up!!!! I forgot that was part of the cocktail that caused Meltdown City. Nacho break coming by 530 pm today I promise!!!

King said...

First of all, I don't think the HALF of a 5 Hour Energy that I split with the Biz had much to do with it. Craig and Rick have been theorizing about that for nearly a year now. I however, do not agree. I have determined that I was hit by a "Perfect Storm" of poor decision making, and unacceptable behavior. And here it is:

-Wednesday before the Memorial: Wasted, 2 hrs sleep
-Thursday: 3 hrs sleep
-Friday: Wasted, 3.5 hrs sleep
-Saturday: Memorial

I think 4 straight days of no sleep, and getting wasted just caught up to me. I have a Pre-Week Memorial Plan that I'm following this year. I live by 2 credo's in life, and I'm going to follow them religiously:

-Well Rested equals Well Tested
-Hydrate or Die

I got away from my core values in the week before last years competition. That won't happen again.

I will be 100% by the main event. I'll be back in the gym in the coming days. Can't wait to see who Peezy picks out of the hat with me!!!!

king- allow me to challenge one of your strategies...

i have been a long time subscriber to the "2+ Plundo Rule". It reads: Any time you are in a situation or are in the company with 2 or more Plundos, you will be a drunken wreck and run the risk of facing serious consequences the next day." It is distant relative of Harold Holloway's "nothing good happens after 2am" ideology. always a good time while in the moment, but questionable decisions are often the result which your body pays for dearly.

you will be in the company of some powerful drinking men during that week in Greensburg. And you will add in a Brandon Payton, Juice Denardo, Jimmy Johnston, a beautiful, artistic pizza maker/student from S Greensburg or Bob Leone and you are bound to get one of those little guys fired up enough to go to 'Manti's or Perry's (not Peezy) Pub.

You have good intentions, but you face a long road ahead. I wish you safe travels on your journey and hope for nothing but the very best. Afterall, we are partners for a little over 2 more weeks.

Godspeed, King.

My 3 rules: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body.

Crazylegs said...

if you follow those 3 rules, then what?

King said...

Legs, I couldn't agree with you more. The 2+ Plundo Rule is simply genius. Simple, yet accurate. Much like E=MC2, its indisputable.

I've taken steps to avoid the looming disaster that will take place in GBG over the next 2 weeks. Specifically, I've spent nearly $1000 to fly back to my training grounds in El Paso for 3 days, rather than stay in GBG or crash Ratts life in NJ. It will be there, at my home base, that I plan on Hydrating and Resting.

Hopefully, my efforts prove successful. Only time will time.

2 weeks until the Opening Ceremony. Game faces Boys... Game Faces.

no one is going to Perry's. That place is ghetto as hell now.

The Beekeeper said...

So let me get this straight, you guys think me, Rick and Ratt spending the week together in GBG before the Memorial is a bad idea?!!!!

Nacho said...

I don't!!!!!!!!!!

Crazylegs said...

no way greg! it's a great idea! i've been saying for years that you two deserve a little "alone time" and need a chance to get a way!

give 'em hell!

perry's is ghetto. biz loves it though. and we all know that nobody beats the biz!
