Re-Cap Post

Hey fellas. Sorry for the lack of action lately. I have been a little bit busy with work and I had half of the write-up written then I had to go to Phoenix for work. So I lost all my momentum.
Rest assured that I will be working on it and hopefully will get it up and posted soon. Hopefully I can find time to work on it this weekend but I will be at a wedding in Gbg so no promises can be made.

Wooooooo!

As our reigning champion Kevin Bowler would say, "You win in the moment, your legend follows quietly."

This saying finally makes sense to me after this crazy year. Bowlers' Lakers drew a whopping 80,000 fans into the streets of downtown Los Angeles after his Lakers won the NBA Finals.

When the Steelers won the Lombardi Trophy in February, Pittsburgh fans came out of the woodwork to celebrate the victory with over 300,000 strong in the streets of downtown Pittsburgh.

And when our beloved Penguins won Lord Stanleys Cup, over 375,000 loyal supporters were present at the parade to welcome the trophy back home to Pittsburgh...

I guess what I'm trying to say is championship trophies mean a lot more in our neck of the woods. And I'll be damned if I'm going to let some California boy take that away from me! Next year you can bet your balls Rick is getting his name on the Gene Cup! This is Pittsburghs time, LA (and Bowler) is a dying breed. LONG LIVE RICK!!!!!

Wooooo!!!!!!!!!!

15 NBA Championships, I guess we just take winning for granted.. I am so terribly excited for this update, I have checked the blog every day since the Memorial and this was a real boost to morale! Can't wait!!!

BTW, I'm already in training for next year. Rick, I echo your sentiments in regards to returning the cup to its home.
